PRE-ORDER: LAST WAR LULLABY
About the Album
This album, "Last War Lullaby: A 10,000 Years Story," is an ambitious, expanded reinterpretation of the universe established by Adam Levy and The Honeydogs.
It emerges directly from their magnificent, over-8-minute song-suite "Last War Lullaby," originally found on their critically acclaimed dystopian concept album "10,000 Years". Levy's original work masterfully portrays a bleak, post-apocalyptic future where environmental devastation, class warfare, and unquenchable bloodlust drive humanity to its darkest depths, notably depicting the harrowing plight of child refugees on the "road to Kara Kum."
The Brass Buttons respectfully extend this epic narrative from its original eight minutes to over thirty minutes, crafting a compelling "sonic landscape for war" that amplifies the core tragedy and the complex protagonist, Vadikyn. This ambitious sonic project preserves the iconic spirit and profound lyrical depth of the original while imprinting the band's unique sound with global textures and sophisticated orchestral rock arrangements, marking a singular new chapter in the history of The Brass Buttons.
